We organize trips to Europe timed with interesting and educational experiences for dressage enthusiasts. Come along on one of our pre-scheduled buying trips and enjoy a world-class event before shopping, or schedule another time to enjoy 3-4 days of horse shopping. In advance of your visit, our team will use our extensive network to locate and pre-qualify as many horses as we can for you to try out during your visit. While we can't guarantee you'll find what you're looking for, we can tell you with certainty that we are successful at least 95% of the time. We are very determined people with great resources! We limit these trips to a very few people, and horse shopping is done individually. You will have your own driver, itinerary, and individual support on the days you are horse shopping.

We aren't the only resource for finding horses for our country's Olympic team, but we do have a solid history you can trust. We found Verdades for Laura Graves, and Ravel for Steffen Peters. Other US top riders use us to find special horses as do riders from around the world. If you are a serious and qualified buyer, we will partner with you to find your potential world-class competitor. Sometimes we know of one or two candidates immediately, other times you need to give us more time to find something for your consideration.

Of course we say "investor" tongue-in-cheek. These are dressage horses we're talking about! But more and more dressage enthusiasts (including us) enjoy purchasing a number of world-class foals, and managing their careers in Europe. Now, we are helping USA buyers participate and this tour provides a great education and exposure for that. From time to time, we host an "Investor lay-of-the-land" tour. This is for dressage enthusiasts who have serious interest in buying foals and leaving them in Europe for possible stallion approval, etc. On this trip, you will get a backstage tour of veterinary clinics, foal housing farms, breeding stations, and a few surprises along the way. This is a unique offering and past participants have given it rave reviews!

Buying 3 or 4 year-olds can be a fantastic opportunity to purchase a world-class horse that in just a few short years, could be the envy of the entire dressage community. In three days of shopping, you will see a wide array of 3 or 4 year-olds according to your shopping parameters of sex, size, and price. Take a chance and buy an unbroken 3 year old, or go for more certainty with a 4 year old under saddle so you can already see (and feel) the inspiring potential.

This trip needs to be planned after April and before October each year ideally, May to August. With our extensive network through owning a breeding station, we can show you top foals by world-class dressage stallions out of proven mare lines, ones that have already produced other approved stallions and/or excelled at dressage. Spend two days and maybe find the next Totalis! For buyers we trust, we will make videos and facilitate a purchase for you virtually so you don't have to travel.

This type of buying trip requires 3-4 days. The actual number of horses we can line up for you to see depends somewhat on your search parameters. If you're looking for the top 1% of the young horse talent pool, there will only be a few of course. If you're looking for an extremely nice horse but don't plan to try out for the Olympics we can show you a wide array and not to worry - it will still be the nicest horse in your barn! Five and six year-olds are a wonderful option because they typically have a few years of riding experience, and have often been to shows. Unlike buying a 3-year-old, you'll be able to spend some time in the saddle and get a much better idea of how compatible you are with the prospect and the feeling it gives you under saddle.

This type of horse is hard to find, and everyone is looking for it. You better have the resources to convince a seller to let it go! Plan on a 3 day tour. Typically, we'll only show you between 1-3 of these. You can go back and try the horse a second or third time to make sure it is the right fit for you. These horses are found through private networks of high-end professionals. Typically, they are not advertised for sale online.

The concentration of amateur dressage riders per square mile in The Netherlands and Germany produces many wonderful amateur horses between 3rd level and Prix St George. They've been to dozens of shows and on and off the horse trailer more times than you can count. They typically have a nice flying change and will hold their own in regional championships in the US with a decent rider. You'll need 3-4 days of shopping to find one of these and of course, plan to try it at least 2 times while you're in Europe. With advance notice, we can find some of these for you to try on your buying tour as we have for many other riders in the past.
